How do we get started?

Grants Funding Strategy Study and Plan

We conduct a 30-minute preliminary interview to determine your exact needs, grant readiness, and the best team member to support you.
We have a grant kick-off meeting where you get to meet your grant writer, and we discuss your needs in greater depth.
Then, we set off to determine your Grants Feasibility Study by conducting grant research of over 100+ grant sources.
We discuss these initial findings with you and then begin to contact each funding source personally to determine if your project is a good fit.
We will then finalize your Grants Strategy based on our research, calls, and expertise to provide you with a list of top funding sources (between 2 – 10) grants that we can focus on for the contract period.
Next, we develop a contract for a Grants Management Service based on the 2-10 grants that we identify and their complexity.
We set out to either develop or refine an existing grant template that will be yours forevermore.
Finally, we get busy making applications and securing you the grants you need to fuel your mission.

$3,500 for a Grants Strategy where 100+ grants are filtered for the top 2-5+ grants worth pursuing over the next 12 months. More advanced and complex Funding Strategies can cost
more.

Grants Funding Internal Audit and Review of Existing Grants Management Program for Effectiveness

We request and obtain all necessary documentation of the organisation that pertains to your past and current grants management program (list provided to the client at contract start).
We conduct a thorough assessment of organisation’s past grants management program, including reviewing past funders, applications declined, proposals, reporting, etc.
We review any existing proposal template(s) and attachments.
We review all program and projects of the organisation.
Then we compile an audit report of recommendations and historical analysis of grant trends that we present to you during a consultation meeting.
We discuss these findings with you and then determine next steps based on the audit and your needs.

Consider a one-off service

Grant and Foundation Research

Meet to determine the organization’s past funding track record, programs needing support, and learn about the organization’s history, mission, and goals.
Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the foundation funding landscape as it pertains to your particular organization, its mission, and goals.
Search foundation directories and make contact with the foundation to establish a personal relationship on your behalf.
Compile a written report summarizing findings and recommendations and present that report to you.
Provide recommendations to you that will impact securing funding including strategy, board involvement, track record, program design, and partnership, etc.

One-off cost of $1,750

Specific Grant Proposal Writing and Grants ManagementList

First private proposal – $750 – $1,500 depending upon format and complexity
Each additional private grant, requiring similar information, is $500 – $1,500
Federal and state proposals – $1,500 – $3,500 based on the nature and complexity of the proposal.

Hourly rate of $65 – $100 if needed
